Vintage Christmas- PTU

I've used the lovely PTU artwork of Suzanne Woolcott at Gorjuss. You can purchase her art HERE.
This is a PTU kit called Vintage Christmas by Seven’s Scraps. You can visit her blog for links HERE.
The mask is by Vixen, #253. Download it on her blog HERE
My supplies are for personal use only and can be downloaded HERE. Add them to your mask folder.
Font used is Kelly.
Animation Shop3 was used for the animation.


Let’s Begin!


Open a new canvas 800x800 pixels.

Open wreath01 from the kit.
Copy and Paste it to your canvas.

Copy and Paste your tube on top of the wreath as a new layer.
Resize your wreath to fit your tube as shown in the tag.

Open ribbon01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the wreath.
Resize and arrange to fit around the wreath as shown.

Open giftbow01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange bow as shown in tag.

Open candycane02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open rudolph01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open snowman01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open present01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open garland01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the ribbons.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom as shown.

Open star03 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the wreath layer.
Resize and arrange as one of the biggest star in the tag.
Duplicate layer and arrange in a circle, 5 stars in total.

Open frame10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the wreath layer.
Resize and arrange it around the wreath.

Open paper10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom layer of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask253.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask,
go to Merge>Merge Group.


I used the font Kelly. I set it to 72 pixels, with a stroke width of 6.
Resize the font to a larger size to fit the tag.
Foreground color #fdfbf3 and background color to black.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 50 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Animation
To animate it, save your tag and open it in Animation Shop.
Right click the tag and click Duplicate Selected.
Duplicate your tag until you have four frames.

Open the animated stars from my supplies.
Copy the star animation by going to
Edit>Select All, Edit>Copy

Click your tag and select all
Edit>Select All
Then paste your animation by going to
Edit>Paste>Into Selected Frame
Move the star into a place between two of the star within the tag and click to paste it.
Continue to paste into selected frame pasting the animated star between all of the stars in the tag as shown.

You can now view your animation and save as a GIF.
