Love Forever- FTU

This is a FTU kit called Love Forever from Pimp’d Designz and is available through the Taggers Art Magazine May Issue.
I used a modified mask by Tempus Fugit. You can get the modified version HERE.
Font used is Shit Happens.

Let’s Begin!


Open a new canvas that’s 800x800 pixels.

Open frame-04 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to your canvas.
Resize it slightly if needed and arrange it in the center of your canvas.

Copy and Paste the tube below the frame and arrange it as shown.

Erase any portion of your tube hanging outside of your frame.

Duplicate the tube and change the upper tube's blend mode to soft light.

Open paper pp-06 from kit.
Copy and Paste your paper below your tube.
Resize it slightly to fit behind the tube as you like.
Erase any portion of the paper hanging outside of the frame’s edges.

Open moon from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the bottom paper layer.
Resize and arrange it behind the upper right corner.
Open diamond-rain from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the frame layer.
Resize it and arrange it over the upper right corner as shown.

Open ribbon-02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it as a new layer.
Duplicate it and move the lower layer below the paper layer (above the moon layer).
On the upper ribbon layer, erase the right side to make it look like it’s draped over the edge.
Erase the lower part of the ribbon that’s bent to the left.

Open lace-01 from kit.Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the bottom right as shown.

Open splatter-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it over the lace as shown.
Duplicate it and resize it smaller and move it to the left side of the frame.
Open swirl-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open flower-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Layer>Mirror it.
Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.
Open leaves-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Layer>Mirror it.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom as shown.

Open heart-02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the upper edge of the lace.
Layer>Duplicate, resize it smaller and move it to down.
On the bigger heart layer erase the right heart, on the smaller erase the left.
Open leaves-03 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open apple from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open paper pp-06 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.

Apply the mask.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font Shit Happens. Set it to a size you like and a stroke width of 4.
Foreground color to white and background color to #9b081a.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.

Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Resize it smaller a little to give yourself more room to work and center.

Copy and Paste your tube under your frame.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the frame.

Open paper pp-03 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below your tube.
Resize it to fit behind the frame exactly.

Open gem from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the frame.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.
Erase the end of the stem that’s hanging over the frame.

Open greens-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open flower-05 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open tag-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open ribbon-01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named WSL_Mask353.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font TheNautiGal. Use a size you like and a stroke width of 4.
Foreground color to white and background color to #582241.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layers and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the duplicated tube and the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Crop and resize as needed!

Let’s Begin!


Open a new canvas that’s 800x800 pixels.

Open frame4 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Copy and Paste your tube below the frame.
You may need to resize your frame a little to fit the tube,
if you’re using the same tube as me.
Erase any portion of the tube hanging outside the frame.
Layers>Duplicate
Adjust>Blur>Gaussian Blur- 3
Change the blend mode to Soft Light

Open paper pp9 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the tube layer.
Resize it to fit the frame slightly so that most of the colors show through.
Erase any portion of the paper hanging outside the frame.

Open branch2 from kit.
Copy and Paste at above the frame.
Image>Mirror
Resize and arrange it to bottom of the frame.

Open moon from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize, rotate to the left slightly and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open flowers1 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the right as shown.

Open ribbon charm from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom as shown.

Open paperflower3 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom as shown.
Layers>Duplicate
Resize the second one a little smaller and then move to the right as shown.

Open bow2 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open jar from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the as shown.

Open paper pp5 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named SkyScraps-MaskEmo1.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.
Follow the same procedure with paper pp6, and apply Vix-Mask365.

I used the font Shalimar Swash ROB. Set it to a size you like and a stroke width of 4.
Foreground color to white and background color to #776a96.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Crop and resize as needed!

Apply the mask named Vix_Mask349.
Resize the mask layer and Layer>Flip as needed before merging.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.

I used the font Adine. Set it to a size that you like and a stroke width of 5.
Foreground color to white and background color to black.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.

Using the magic wand, select inside the open area of the frame.
Go to Selections>Modify>Expand and expand by 5.
Copy and Paste your paper as a new layer.
Go to Selections>Invert and hit the Delete button on your keyboard.
Selections>None, and move the paper below the tubes behind the frame.

Let’s Begin!


Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to
Image>Canvas Size.
Delete the credits layer, layer named misfit, and both layers named text.

Colorize both of the layers named strip and oval and circle to match.
Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize, Hue=141, Saturation=119.

Open clear flower from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the stars layer.
Resize and arrange over stars and Layer>Duplicate to cover all stars.

Open wings from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the angel background layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open diamondrain2 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the circle frame layer.
Arrange it over the circle.
On the circle layer, go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat.
Select the diamond rain layer and go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra diamonds.

Open doodle1 from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the angel background layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open clod from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the oval layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Copy and Paste your tube of choice above the oval frame layer.
Duplicate your frame by going to Layer>Duplicate.
Move the upper oval frame above your tube.
Using your eraser tool, erase portions of the upper frame at the top covering up the face or above whatever portions of the tube you want to stick out of the frame.
On the tube layer, erase the portions of the tube on the bottom that are hanging outside the frame.

Open feather from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the duplicated oval frame layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open candle from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the angel background layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open paper4 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom layer of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask362.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask,
go to Merge>Merge Group.

I used the font Carpenter. Set it to a size you like, and a stroke width of 3.
Foreground color to white and background color to #7aa7c7.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything by going to
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Open snowflake03 and 04 from kit.
Copy and Paste them above all the layers.
Resize and arrange them around the tag as shown.

Open paper pp08 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom layer of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask389.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask,
go to Merge>Merge Group.

Open paper pp10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the previous mask.
Apply the mask named Vix_Christmas Mask6.

I used the font Thickhead. I set it to 72 pixels, and a stroke width of 6.
Foreground color to white and background color to #db99a1.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the tube, ice, and the masks.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Let’s Begin!


Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to
Image>Canvas Size.
Delete the credits layer and Broken wordart layer.

Open paper22 from the kit.
Copy your paper and go to the template.
On your rectangle-1 layer, go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat.
Paste your paper by going to Edit>Paste As New Layer.
Then go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra paper.
Be sure to delete the original layer of the template.
(Follow this procedure when asked to Copy and Paste a paper to a layer of the template.)

Open paper28 from kit.
Copy and Paste this paper to rectangle-2 layer of the template.

Open paper27 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the layer names Back.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named stripe4.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange mask to fit right behind the rectangle as shown in the tag.
Delete the layer named Back.

Open paper02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the previous mask layer.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named circle4.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange mask to fit as shown in the tag.

Open frame26 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the circle mask layer.
Resize and arrange it in the center as shown.

Open splashes01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the previous layer.
Resize it a little larger and arrange it centered as shown in tag.

Delete the layer named Sparklies.

Open doodle05 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the stripe mask layer.
Image>Mirror
Resize and arrange it to the upper left had corner as shown.
Duplicate the layer and mirror and flip it by going to
Image>Mirror, Image>Flip

Open glitterrain01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the blur rectangle layer.
Resize and arrange it within the rectangle as shown in tag.

Open wings01 from kit.
Resize image by going to Image>Resize and resize to 300 pixels wide.
With the crop tool, crop the right wing out of the image so only the left wing shows.
Copy and Paste it above the wings layer.
Arrange it to the right of the word “angel” above the wing template.
Duplicate the layer and Image>Mirror so it is on the right of the word also.
Delete the Wings layer of the template.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer above the glitter rain.
Resize and arrange it to the left of the rectangle making sure to line up the tubes edges with the corner of the rectangle.

Open ribbon05 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the tube layer.
Resize and arrange it just above the wordart as shown in tag.

Open moom01 from kit.
Image>Mirror
Copy and Paste it above the other layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown in tag.

Open butterfly01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it on top of the other layers.
Resize and arrange it as shown in tag.

Open sparkle01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the tube layer.

Select the angel wordart and recolor to match the tag. I used color #547291.
Go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat
Selection>Modify>Expand and expand by 3.
Layer>New Raster Layer, and Floodfill with white.
Selection>Select None
Move this layer below the blue angel wordart, merge them together.

I used the font Scriptina. I set it to 72 pixels, Bold, Kerning set to -50, and a stroke width of 6.
Foreground color to white and background color to #547291.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the sparkle and the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 50 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Let’s Begin!


Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to
Image>Canvas Size.
Delete the credits layer.

Open paper28 from the kit.
Resize your paper by going to Image>Resize, and resize it to 350 pixels wide.
Copy your paper and go to the template.
On your rectangle layer, go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat.
Paste your paper by going to Edit>Paste As New Layer.
Then go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra paper.
Be sure to delete the original layer of the template.
(Follow this procedure when asked to Copy and Paste a paper to a layer of the template.)

Open frame10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the rectangle layer.
Resize and arrange it behind the rectangle as shown in tag.

Open stars 01, 02, and 03 from kit.
Copy and Paste them above the stars layer.
Resize, duplicate, and arrange them as shown above the stars in the bottom left corner.
Merge all the star layers together.
Image> Mirror, Image>Flip to get them in the top right corner.
Delete the original stars layer from tag when done.

Open butterfly02 from kit.
Image>Mirror
Copy and Paste it above the stars layers.
Resize and arrange it as shown in tag.

Open glitter02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the rectangle layer.
Resize and arrange it within the rectangle at the top as shown in tag.

Open glitter05 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the rectangle layer.
Resize and arrange it to the top left as shown in tag.
Image>Mirror, Image>Flip

Open flower04 and rose08 from kit.
Copy and Paste them below the rectangle layer.
Resize, duplicate each, and arrange them as shown in the tag.

Open heart01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the rectangle layer.
Resize and arrange it to the bottom right corner as shown.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer below the stars.
Resize and arrange it as shown in the tag.

Open light01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above all the layers.
Resize and arrange it so the light is shining right in the face.

Open paper04 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom, below the frame.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask399.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.

I used the font Unnamed Melody. I set it to 48 pixels, and the color is white.

Drop shadow everything except the light and the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
