B-day- PTU

I've used the lovely PTU artwork of Scott Blair. You can purchase his art HERE.
This is PTU kit called B-day from Cora’s Creations. Visit her blog for links to her stores HERE.
I used Template76 by Blissfully Beth. You can get it HERE.
The mask is WSL_Mask219, by Wee Scot Lass. You can get it HERE.
The wordart is in my own and is in my supplies, for personal use only. Get it HERE.
Font used is akaFrivolity.


Let’s Begin!


Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to
Image>Canvas Size.
Delete the credits layer and wordart layer.

Open paper pp01 from the kit.
Copy your paper and go to the template.
On your gray circle layer, go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat.
Paste your paper by going to Edit>Paste As New Layer.
Then go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra paper.
Be sure to delete the original layer of the template.
(Follow this procedure when asked to Copy and Paste a paper to a layer of the template.)

Open paper pp07 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the brackets layer.

Open paper pp05 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the rounded rectangle layer.

Open paper pp08 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the gray tabs layer.

Open paper pp10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the black tags layer.

Copy and Paste your tube to the top of the template.
Image>Duplicate your tube.
Go to the circle layer.
Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat
Go to the lower tube, Selections&>Invert and press the Delete button.
On the upper tube use the eraser tool to erase parts of the tube hanging over the bottom of the circle. Merge the two tubes together.

Open frame02 from kit.
Copy and Paste at the bottom of the template.
Resize and arrange it to the side of the frame.

Open heart balloon from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the tube.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.

Open ribbon02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open ribbon01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open heart from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open stars from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the tube.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open bow02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open cupcake02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open present04 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open button01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open paper pp06 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named WSL_Mask219.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font akaFrivolity. I set it to 72 pixels and a stroke width of 6.
Foreground color to white and background color to #ca385b.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
