I Heart Skullz- PTU

This is a PTU kit called I Heart Skulls from TammyKat Dezigns. Get it at PMTw/S.

The mask is WSL_Mask133, by Wee Scot Lass.

Font used is Bring Tha Noize.

Let’s Begin!

Open a new canvas that’s 800x800 pixels.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer.

You will resize it later on.

Open layeredframe-black from kit.

Copy and Paste as a new layer.

Resize your tube to fit as shown.

Duplicate tube layer.

Move the second tube layer above the frame layer.

Erase portions of the tube around the body so that it looks like it's coming out of the frame.

Open skullspaper2 from kit.

Copy and Paste it below the bottom tube.

This one will go in the main square of the frame.

Resize it to fit how you like and erase any portion of the paper hanging outside the edges.

Open dkpinkpp (paper) from kit.

Copy and Paste it below the previous paper.

This paper is going in the middle sliver of the frame.

Resize it to fit how you like and erase any portion of the paper hanging outside the edges.

Open bluecheck (paper) from kit.

Copy and Paste it below the previous paper.

This paper is going in the right top corner of the frame.

Resize it to fit how you like and erase any portion of the paper hanging outside the edges.

Open ribboncircle-blue from kit.

Copy and Paste it above the frame.

Resize and rotate to the right slightly and arrange as shown.

Open sucker-pink from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open ribbon3-black from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open razor-heart from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open flowertrim-1 from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open taglove from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open skullygirly1-acrylic from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open ribbonpink from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open dkpinkpp paper from kit.

Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.

Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.

Apply the mask named WSL_Mask133.

Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.

Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font Bring Tha Noize. Set it to a size you like and a stroke width of 3.

Foreground color to white and background color to #603766.

Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.

Set the stroke width to 0.

Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Crop and resize as needed!

All Finished!

 

Hawaiian Tropics- PTU

This is a PTU kit called Hawaiian Tropics from TammyKat Dezigns. Get it at PMTw/S.

The mask is Vix_Mask365, by Vix PSP.

Font used is WaterBrush.

Let’s Begin!

Open a new canvas that’s 800x800 pixels.

Open frameflame from kit.

Copy and Paste as a new layer.

Resize slightly to give yourself room and center.

Open surferboardpaper from kit.

Copy and Paste it below the frame.

Resize it to fit how you like and erase any portion of the paper hanging outside the edges.

Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer above your frame.

Resize the tube as needed and center on top of frame as shown.

Don't worry if the bottom isn't exact or anything, it will be covered later.

Duplicate tube layer.

Change the bottom layer to black and white by going to

Effects>Photo Effects>Black and White Film.

Settings to 0.

Change the upper tube layer to the blend mode- soft light.

Duplicate the soft light tube again.

Open bluesurf (board) from kit.

Copy and Paste it below the frame's paper.

Resize and rotate to the right slightly and arrange as shown.

Open palmtreee from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Duplicate and mirror the palm tree and resize it down slightly.

Arrange it as shown.

Open buttonorange from kit.

Copy and Paste it aabove the frame layer.

Resize and arrange it to the top right as shown.

Open flowerskirt from kit.

Copy and Paste it above all the tube layers.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open pineapple from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open surfboardborder from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the bottom as shown.

Open flowerpink from kit.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Resize and arrange it to the right right as shown.

Open hotpink paper from kit.

Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.

Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.

Apply the mask named Vix_Mask365.

Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.

Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font Waterbrush. Set it to a size you like and a stroke width of 3.

Foreground color to white and background color to #4c7a72.

Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.

Set the stroke width to 0.

Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.

Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Crop and resize as needed!

All Finished!
