Cowgirl Tease- PTU

I've used the lovely PTU artwork of Elias Chatzoudis. You can purchase his art HERE.
This is PTU kit called Cowgirl from Cora’s Creations (Pimp'd Designz). Visit her blog for links to her stores HERE.
I used Template282 by Divine Intentionz. You can get it HERE.
The mask is WSL_Mask350, by Wee Scot Lass. You can get it HERE.
Font used is Shadowed Black Wide.


Let’s Begin!


Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to
Image>Canvas Size.
Delete the credits layer and wordart layer.

Open paper pp10 from the kit.
Copy your paper and go to the template.
On your gray circle cutout, go to Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat.
Paste your paper by going to Edit>Paste As New Layer.
Then go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra paper.
Be sure to delete the original layer of the template.
(Follow this procedure when asked to Copy and Paste a paper to a layer of the template.)

Without unselecting the selection, go to Selections>Modify>Expand by 3.
Paste paper pp03 by going to Edit>Paste As New Layer.
Then go to Selections>Invert and press the Delete button on your keyboard to delete the extra paper.
Move this layer below the pink paper.

Open paper pp08 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to frame background and the TEASE layers.

Copy and Paste your tube above the frame background.
Image>Duplicate your tube.
Go to the frame background layer.
Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat
Go to the lower tube, Selections>Invert and press the Delete button.
On the upper tube use the eraser tool to erase parts of the tube hanging over the bottom of the frame background. Merge the two tubes together.

Duplicate the layer called frame.
Move the second frame above the tube.
Use the eraser tool to erase the upper portions of the frame so the tube hangs out.

Colorize the frame layer, heart layer, and glittered circles to match.

Open flower03 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the circle layer.
Resize and arrange it to the bottom of the tag.
Duplicate it twice and arrange them around the tag as shown.

Open swirl from kit.
Copy and Paste it in the back of the tag.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open rope from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the circle layer.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open horse from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the top of the tag.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open sheriff from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the top of the tag.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open glitter dots from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the swirl.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open glitter from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the TEASE wordart.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open ribbon09 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the circle.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open paper pp09 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named WSL_Mask350.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font Shadowed Black Wide. I set it to 72 pixels and a stroke width of 4.
Foreground color to white and background color to #2e241f.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layers and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Open the tag template, and resize the canvas from the center to 800x800 by going to

Copy and Paste it to the rounded rectangle layer.

Copy and Paste it to the gray tabs layer.

Open paper pp10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it to the black tags layer.

Copy and Paste your tube to the top of the template.
Image>Duplicate your tube.
Go to the circle layer.
Selections>Select All, Selections>Float, Selections>Defloat
Go to the lower tube, Selections&>Invert and press the Delete button.
On the upper tube use the eraser tool to erase parts of the tube hanging over the bottom of the circle. Merge the two tubes together.

Open frame02 from kit.
Copy and Paste at the bottom of the template.
Resize and arrange it to the side of the frame.

Open heart balloon from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the tube.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.

Open ribbon02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open ribbon01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open heart from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open stars from kit.
Copy and Paste it behind the tube.
Resize and arrange it as shown.

Open bow02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open cupcake02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it at the bottom of the tag as shown.

Open present04 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

(Note: this is a full size kit so resize everything to 800 pixels before you copy and paste to your canvas.)

Open a new canvas at 800x800 pixels.

Open Indian Feather Frame from my supplies.
Copy and Paste it onto your canvas.

Open paper9 from kit.
Resize it to 800x800 pixels.
Go to your canvas and select the magic wand tool.
On the frame layer, select the inside of the frame.
Expand the selection by going to
Selections>Modify>Expand- 5
Copy and Paste your paper as a new layer.
Selections>Invert, and hit the Delete key on your keyboard.
Selections>None
Move the paper layer below your frame.

Copy and Paste your tube on top of the frame as a new layer.
Arrange it to the left of the frame as shown.

Open the basket from my supplies.
Copy and Paste it above the frame layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left of the tube as shown.

Open element20 (leaves) from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the frame.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.
Layer>Duplicate, Image>Mirror

Open frame1 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize, rotate and arrange it so it shows a little outside of the frame.

Open element24 (swirl) from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize, rotate and arrange it to the side of the frame.
Layer>Duplicate, Image>Mirror

Open dream catcher from my supplies.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.

Open element25 (butterfly) from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.

Open element25 (spray) from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right of the tag as shown.

Open paper10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom, below the leaves.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Bintys-Twi-Meadow.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask, go to Merge>Merge Group.
Resize and arrange it to fit as shown.

I used the font Goombella. I set it to 72 pixels and a stroke width of 6.
Foreground color to #faf2cd and background color to #31231d.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 50 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Animation
To animate it, save your tag and open it in Animation Shop.
Right click the tag and click Duplicate Selected.
Duplicate your tag until you have four frames.

Open the animated flame from my supplies.
Copy the flame animation by going to
Edit>Select All, Edit>Copy

Click your tag and select all by going to
Edit>Select All
Then paste your animation by going to
Edit>Paste>Into Selected Frame
Paste the frame to the bottom right of the tag, by the tube.

You can now view your animation and save as a GIF.

Copy and Paste it above the wreath.
Resize and arrange to fit around the wreath as shown.

Open giftbow01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange bow as shown in tag.

Open candycane02 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open rudolph01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the right as shown.

Open snowman01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.
Resize and arrange it to the left as shown.

Open present01 from kit.
Copy and Paste it as a new layer.

Copy and Paste it above the wreath layer.
Resize and arrange as one of the biggest star in the tag.
Duplicate layer and arrange in a circle, 5 stars in total.

Open frame10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it below the wreath layer.
Resize and arrange it around the wreath.

Open paper10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom layer of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask253.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask,
go to Merge>Merge Group.


I used the font Kelly. I set it to 72 pixels, with a stroke width of 6.
Resize the font to a larger size to fit the tag.
Foreground color #fdfbf3 and background color to black.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the mask.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 50 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Animation
To animate it, save your tag and open it in Animation Shop.
Right click the tag and click Duplicate Selected.
Duplicate your tag until you have four frames.

Open the animated stars from my supplies.
Copy the star animation by going to
Edit>Select All, Edit>Copy

Click your tag and select all
Edit>Select All
Then paste your animation by going to
Edit>Paste>Into Selected Frame
Move the star into a place between two of the star within the tag and click to paste it.
Continue to paste into selected frame pasting the animated star between all of the stars in the tag as shown.

You can now view your animation and save as a GIF.

Drop shadow your tube by going to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow,
set the drop to -5 vertical, -5 horizontal, 50 opacity, 10 blur.

Open snowflake03 and 04 from kit.
Copy and Paste them above all the layers.
Resize and arrange them around the tag as shown.

Open paper pp08 from kit.
Copy and Paste it at the bottom layer of the tag.
Add your mask by going to Layer>Load/ Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk.
Apply the mask named Vix_Mask389.
Merge the mask group by right clicking the layer of the finished mask,
go to Merge>Merge Group.

Open paper pp10 from kit.
Copy and Paste it above the previous mask.
Apply the mask named Vix_Christmas Mask6.

I used the font Thickhead. I set it to 72 pixels, and a stroke width of 6.
Foreground color to white and background color to #db99a1.
Duplicate the layer and select the second font layer with the font tool.
Set the stroke width to 0.
Merge the 2 font layer and convert to a raster layer.

Drop shadow everything except the tube, ice, and the masks.
Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow, set the drop to 3 vertical, 2 horizontal, 75 opacity, 4 blur.

Add your copyright info and your tag.

Merge everything in Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
